In past generations, people often lived in villages or close-knit neighborhoods--communities where people, young and old, knew each other's names, spent time together and kept an eye out for one another. This is the inspiration for ChaiVillageLA.

As we grow older, many of us want to stay in our own homes and neighborhoods, but sometimes this can take a village. ChaiVillageLA is a multi-generational, multi-synagogue village supported by Jewish values.

Congregants of Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills and Temple Isaiah have come together to form a special village, providing assistance to one another while enriching each other's lives.

Whether you are looking for a ride to the doctor, help with a computer, or a chance to join a book club, walking group or museum group, ChaiVillageLA will be there for you.

26 Members On the LA Times Guided Tour

On May 15th, Village members traveled on the Expo Line to the iconic LA Times building downtown. Our guided tour took us through the editorial section, over to the test kitchens and past awards and plaques honoring LA Times coverage over the years.  We finished our visit with lunch at the LA Times Cafeteria.
