March for Our Lives - ChaiVillageLA Members are Invited

This year Temple Emanuel's Teen Civic Leadership Council has taken on the issue of gun violence prevention. Since September, these students have learned with experts, lobbied in D.C. and raised funds for the Brady Campaign. Join them, Emanuelites across the generations, and members of ChaiVillageLA  to take action for gun violence prevention. Temple Emanuel is organizing a bus to participate in the March for Our Lives with the Jewish Center for Justice.

Meet at Temple Emanuel at 7:30 AM. Parking will be available under the building with access off of Clark Drive. The bus will depart promptly at 7:45 AM and will leave downtown no later than noon to return back to Temple Emanuel. Once downtown, we will meet up with the Jewish Center for Justice for a brief Shabbat experience before joining the march as a substantial Jewish contingent.

Anyone who wants a seat on the bus must email Rabbi Bassin directly at rabbibassin@tebh.org by March 22. Please provide the names and email addresses of those who will be attending.  

We request a $10 per person donation the day of the march to help offset the cost of the bus.  Any additional funds gathered will be donated to the Brady Campaign in honor of our Teen Civic Leadership Council.
