Civics in the Synagogue: Stop Asian Hate

Join Civics in the Synagogues as they discuss combating the rise in hate crimes against Asian-Americans. Last year, hate crimes against Asian-Americans rose by 114% in Los Angeles and 150% nationwide, and recent murders of Asian-Americans have brought this issue to mainstream attention. But the roots of anti-AAPI hatred stretch back long before the coronavirus. Together we'll understand how we got to this moment, and how we can act to address it. Featuring Manjusha P. Kulkarni, Executive Director of the Asian Pacific Policy & Planning Council and co-founder of Stop AAPI Hate.
