Join with Reform Jews from all over California
We are at a critical moment in our nation’s history. Following the high rate of voter participation in the 2020 elections, many elected officials want to create barriers to free and fair elections. As Reform Jews, we must take a stand and urge our senators to fight harder to pass federal voting rights legislation and preserve our democracy. Please join your fellow congregants and Reform Jews from synagogues throughout California as we meet on Zoom with the general counsel at Senator Feinstein’s office.
Numbers are powerful in lobbying. Whether you are from Temple Isaiah, Temple Emanuel or another Reform synagogue, we need as many people to join us as possible. No preparation or experience needed and you will not be asked to speak; your presence is what’s important. A large audience at one or both meetings will send a strong statement that we expect our Senators to do everything in their power to protect voting rights for all Americans.
