Shining a New Light on Hanukkah

What if, in addition to dreidels, latkes, songs and presents, Hanukkah was a time to share a rich, evocative set of values, one for each night? What if, as you lit the candles, you could create conversations that resonated for a lifetime?

These questions drove authors and cousins Paul Small and Josh Freeman to create a beautiful book, "Festival of Light,"  which explores eight essential human values: Faith, Freedom, Courage, Love, Charity, Integrity, Knowledge and Peace.

Join Rabbi Zoë Klein Miles, Paul Small and Josh Freeman to talk about a new vision of the Festival of Light, and the fascinating story of how they transformed the writings of their great-uncle, American Playwright Dore Schary, into this book filled with photography, musical playlists, historical context, recipes and reflections. We will also have time to share our own favorite creative Hanukkah experiences.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining this discussion.
