We have been invited by TJ Village,
the new Synagogue Village at Temple Judea
to attend a Zoom lecture by Dr. Raphe Sonenshein, expert on politics and government
THE PATH AHEAD: HOW WE GOT HERE AND WHERE WE ARE GOING
Dr. Sonenshein will discuss the aftermath of the recent election season and staying optimistic and hopeful as we move forward.
About Dr. Sonenshein:
Dr. Raphael Sonenshein is the Executive Director of the Pat Brown Institute for Public Affairs at CSU Los Angeles. Previously he was the Chair of the Division of Politics, Administration, and Justice at CSU Fullerton. He received his B.A. from Princeton, and his M.A. and Ph.D from Yale.
He is the author of three books on Los Angeles politics and government. He served as Executive Director of the Los Angeles Charter Reform Commission and also as Executive Director of the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Review Commission. He received several distinguished awards for teaching excellence while in the CSU system. He was the 2008 Fullbright Tocquevulle Distinguished Chair in American Studies at the University of Paris
