About this event

Following our Purim weekend and our booing of Haman, we will explore the anti-Semitic tropes found in Disney, Barbie, Harry Potter and other beloved cinema that shapes our culture. We will look at how we have come to expect deceiving, conniving, power-hungry villains who use dark magic on children to have stereotypically Ashkenazic Jewish appearances. An interactive learning with Rabbi Zoë Klein Miles. (Don’t worry, it is still okay to love these shows!)
