Please join us when we discuss  two compelling films about musicians who suffered setbacks in their careers.

SEARCHING FOR SUGARMAN (2012) is an award-winning documentary about a popular singer who faded into obscurity in the United States during the '70s but became a sensation  in South Arica and other countries. This movie shows us the quest to find him and to discover the cause of his disappearance.

SOUND OF METAL (2019) stars Riz Ahmed and Olivia Cooke. It describes the devastating effect of the sudden onset of a hearing loss on a performer in a heavy metal band. This movie is considered one of the best movies of 2020. 

Both movies are available on Amazon Prime Video. Please watch them in advance.
