Film Discussion: Immigrant Families' Struggles

Our movie discussion  will center on two families who struggle to make a life and a living in unfamiliar environments.

Nowhere in Africa (2001) is a  German drama that tells the story of life in Kenya for a German-Jewish 
family that emigrated there in 1938 to escape Nazi persecution.
It is available to stream on Amazon Prime, You Tube, Apple TV, and other streaming platforms.

Minari (2020follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American dream. It is available to stream on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Direct TV.
