JOIN US AS WE TRAVEL TO THE
RIVERSIDE ART MUSEUM
AND
THE NEW CHEECH MARIN CENTER

 

We will meet our docent at 10:30 am for our tour which will take about one and a half hours.  We will learn about the  history of both museums and view  the highlights of their collections and their current exhibits.

The Riverside Art Museum is located in a famous 1929  building that was designed by Hearst Castle architect Julia Morgan. 

The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art and Culture, opened in 2022, is a center for sculpture, photography, and visual arts. It  is located in Riverside's downtown historic core adjacent to the Mission Inn Hotel.

WE WILL ENJOY LUNCH
AT THE HISTORIC MISSION INN


EVENT DETAILS:

Docent tours: We will meet the bus at the golf course lot at Temple Isaiah  at 9:00 am.
Our tour of  the two museums will begin at 10:45 and will last for about one hour in each  museum. The cost for the docent tour is $10.00 per person.

Lunch: We will eat lunch at the beautiful  restaurant in the Mission Inn at 1:30. We hope to arrive at the restaurant early enough to explore the hotel and gardens before our lunch reservation. Please bring cash to pay for lunch and a  small tip for the bus driver.
