Gerontologist Leon Watt will lead us in a discussion of how to make essential changes in our homes to keep us safe while still maintaining the familiar and sentimental things that bring us joy.

Street parking will be available.

About Leon Watt:
Forty-one years after serving in the US Air Force and studying public administration at USC, Leon Watt enrolled in the Gerontology Department at his alma mater where he earned his master's degree. There he gained a greater understanding of the benefits to older adult of "aging in place" in their homes and communities. After years of practical experience providing much needed home maintenance and improvement services, he began to devote himself to adding age-appropriate modifications to the homes of his clients. Leon Watt currently lectures on this subject at the School of Gerontology at USC.
