Docent Tour - Fowler Museum

Spend a spring day on the beautiful grounds of UCLA!
Enjoy a docent tour of the exhibits at the Fowler Museum
at noon
followed by a brown bag picnic lunch.

We will tour the works of Amir J. Fallah,  an Iranian-born artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. His multi-media works being exhibited at the Fowler Museum are characterized by vivid  and saturated colors and layered imagery.  Fallah draws from many  traditions, ranging from fashion design to venerated art histories. He is inspired by the intersection of the many cultures from around the globe in his adoptive city of Los Angeles.  His works move fluidly across genres and media and incorporate mutiple themes.

Fallah's works are part of the permanent collections in many major museums in the US as well as internationally in Dubai, China, Greece, and England .

Please note the following details:

: We will meet at the entrance to the museum at 11:50 AM to greet our docent.
