Healing Words: Processing Trauma in the Aftermath of October 7th

The October 7 massacre in Israel left a deep scar on the Jewish community. While there’s been discussion about the war’s causes, a crucial space is missing: processing the emotional impact. This Zoom panel brings together Isaians who are also mental health professionals: Natasha Bogopolskaya, Michael Khayat, Shireen Oberman, Madeline Wolf, and Jeff Zimerman.

They’ll discuss:

Compassion Fatigue & Secondary Trauma

Coping with Complicated Grief

Building Community Resilience

Finding Posttraumatic Growth

Following the panel, small breakout rooms will offer a safe space to share your experiences. We’ll conclude with a guided mindfulness practice
